The key to urinary health is to stay hygienic; this reduces the chance of an imbalance of bacteria in the
urinary tract. CystiCare™ contains cranberries, a natural dietary approach to maintaining urinary health*
and a balanced urinary flora.*
Cranberries produce hippuric acid in the urine, which acidifies the urine, inhibits imbalances in
bacterial growth* and blocks the bacteria from adhering to the bladder walls.*
Vitamin C has been shown to inhibit the growth of the organism E. coli,* which can cause an imbalance in
bacteria.*
Bearberry, also known as Uva Ursi is Arbutin, this has a long history of use for
urinary health.*
Nettle leaf has been known to support urinary health,* this herb appears to work by increasing urinary
volume and therefore may help to flush bacteria out of the system.*
Buchu leaf preparations have a history of use in traditional herbal medicine to help support urinary
health.*
Dandelion helps to improve liver,* gallbladder,* and kidney,* function. The active constituent of
Dandelion leaf helps to maintain water balance.*
Sage contains active constituents, including ocimene, cineole, limonene, and terpinene. Several of these
terpene compounds are antioxidants and help to maintain a healthy balance of bacteria.*
Parsley contains tannins and functions by increasing urinary output, thus supporting urinary health.*
